AKWK has its headquarters in Santarém, a small town 60 km northeast of Lisbon.
There are Wado Kai schools in most of the country and athletes from those schools are eager to compete in the next Euro Cup.
AKWK has been in most Wado international competitions in the past years, including Euro Cups 2008, 2009 and 2010 and World Cups 1999, 2005 and 2010.
